I'm Tim Lane, publisher of Septic System Services Florida. My job here is to make comparing septic companies less of a guessing exercise. I care about the work a company handles, where it travels and what a homeowner needs to ask before agreeing to a visit. A polished website is useful. An answer to your actual question is better. This is an independent directory, not a septic contractor.
Why this directory exists
Buying septic work gets confusing quickly. Pumping, inspections, repairs and replacement are different jobs, yet a company search can make them look interchangeable. Before you compare quotes, you need to know whether each company is quoting the same work. Otherwise, the cheapest number may simply leave more out.
This directory brings business details, recorded ratings and researched service information into one place. Start with the job you need, then check the company's coverage. An office address tells you where a business is based. It does not tell you every property it will travel to. We keep those two things separate.
Missing information stays missing until there is evidence to fill it. If we cannot establish that a company offers a particular service, that is not the same as saying it does not. Ask the company. Ask about access, the scope of the visit and what happens if the diagnosis points to additional work. Those answers matter more than another paragraph about excellent customer service.
How listings are vetted
We review business websites for septic services and published coverage, and consolidate records that refer to the same company. A listing describes the evidence available to us. Inclusion is not a workmanship guarantee or confirmation that a credential is current. Check the provider and the scope for your own job.
Right now that is 427 septic service providers in 223 Florida cities, last refreshed 2026-10-22.
Owners can claim their listing for free. Every claim is checked by a person: a real local business, a matching email domain or a call to the number on the Google listing. Paid placements are marked as featured, premium or best-of wherever they appear.
Corrections and removals
If a listing is wrong, or you want your business removed, tell us. We answer within a week and rebuild the directory with the change.
